Rule set:

This debate follows a unique and highly strategic structure designed to test both individual performance and team cohesion. To begin, all participants will divide themselves into two opposing factions: a "pro" team, which will argue in favor of the motion, and an "against" team, which will argue in opposition.

The debate unfolds as a series of direct, one-on-one rounds, with a single speaker from each team taking the stage to argue their case. However, a speaker's position at the podium is not guaranteed. In a key strategic twist, the members of a speaker's own team can, at any point, vote to have them replaced. This vote is cast by a clear raising of their flag.

If a majority of a team raises their flags, their current debater is immediately removed from the round. Their place is instantly taken by the next person in line from their team's roster, who must then continue the debate.

To ensure that every debater has a fair chance to establish their position, each new speaker who comes to the podium is granted a 30-second protected timeframe. This applies both to the first speakers in a round and to any replacements who are subbed in. During these 30 seconds, the new speaker may present their foundational stance and key arguments completely uninterrupted by the opposing side or points of information. After this period, the regular debate resumes.

A panel of judges will decide the winners and they will be awarded a prize.
